One social entrepreneur scales her mission to fight inequity by creating extended families

Nestled among trees and modern amenities will be The Guild, a new incubator established for budding social entrepreneurs to grow their goals from home. The 10-month residency fellowship will offer a robust curriculum, training, mentorship, and startup struggle huddles with others of the cohort.

Don’t expect incremental thinking from Iyengar; she wants to move the needle. "That’s why I focus a lot of my efforts into learning about and building on technology solutions to address environmental issues — it’s the quickest way to influence behavior change as well as systems change," she said. "I’d also like to know that I inspired and provided support to others to do the same."
